भारत सरकार द्वारा राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 1986 के अनुसार जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय की शुरूआत की थी। वर्तमान में यह विद्यालय देश के 28 राज्यों एवं 7 केन्द्र शाषित प्रदेशों में खुले हैं। ये विद्यालय आवासीय विद्यालय हैं जो भारत सरकार की स्वायत्त संस्था नवोदय विद्यालय समिति द्वारा वित्त पोषित है। जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय केन्द्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त हैं।
नवोदय विद्यालय समिति ने प्रवेश 2025 के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन जारी कर दिया है जो 16 जुलाई 2024 से शुरू होगा और आवेदन करने की अंतिम तिथि 16 सितंबर 2024 होगी। पैन इंडिया एनवीएस स्कूल कक्षा VI प्रवेश 2025 में भाग ले रहे हैं, उम्मीदवारों को प्रवेश परीक्षा से संबंधित सभी जानकारी जैसे पाठ्यक्रम, पात्रता, आयु सीमा, शुल्क, स्कूल सूची, सूचना और अन्य प्रकार की जानकारी के लिए सूचना विवरणिका पढ़नी चाहिए और फिर आवेदन करना चाहिए।
जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय में प्रवेश कक्षा 6 में प्रवेश परीक्षा के आधार पर होता है। इस वर्ष भी नवोदय विद्यालय समिति द्वारा कक्षा 6 में प्रवेश हेतु आनलाईन आवेदन पत्र आमंत्रित किये हैं, जिसके लिए अंतिम तिथि 16 सितम्बर, 2024 है। नवोदय विद्यालय में प्रवेश सम्बन्धी अन्य महत्वपूर्ण जानकारियों के लिए इस पोस्ट को पूरा पढें।

योग्यता एवं परीक्षा तिथियोग्यता : कक्षा 5वीं की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण कीसम्पूर्ण भारत में नवोदय विद्यालय दो भागों में बांटा गया है जिसमें शीतकाल एवं ग्रीष्मकाल के आधार पर प्रवेश परीक्षा का आयोजन होता है।
- On Saturday, 12th April, 2025 at 11.30 A.M. in the States of Jammu and Kashmir (except Jammu-I, Jammu-II & Samba), Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and in the Districts of Dibang Valley and Tawang of Arunachal Pradesh, in the Districts of Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti and Shimla of Himachal Pradesh, in the District of Darjeeling of West Bengal, and Leh & Kargil districts of UT Ladakh.

- कक्षा 6 में प्रवेश हेतु छात्र जन्म 01-05-2013 से 31-07-2015 के मध्य होना चाहिए।
